​WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN RENTING A PLOT??

Whitewater Community Garden (WWCG) is reserved
for residents of the Whitewater, WI only.
​
Our 20X20 plots are available for
​$40 for the 2026 season.
​
An additional $20 refundable deposit will be asked for NEW MEMBERS.
​
The refundable $20 deposit will be returned at the beginning of the following season, ​
​if the gardener maintains their plot throughout the season ​and cleans up their plot ​by November 2026.


​Plots are assigned first come, first-served basis. ​​

RETURNING MEMBERS
March 1st, 2026:  Jennifer will send out an email to all returning members to see who is returning, as promoting for open plots will begin shortly after. 
After March 15th - ALL OPEN PLOTS WILL BE AVAIL FOR RENTING

April 14th: IN PERSON SIGN UP at garden will start Sundays ONLY
Payment will be taken DAY OF your sign up date. (Check, cash or Venmo)

NEW APPLICANTS

March 15th : New Gardeners may submit their application on a first-come, first-served basis.
1. Read and Download the following files above; Application 2026 & Liability Waiver 2026
​*Take a screenshot or picture with phone of last page of APPLICATION 2026
2. Send an email to [email protected] stating your interest in the garden with screen shot of the last page of application. 
​
3. Plots are first come first serve.  If there are available plots, you will then receive an email to set up an orientation at the garden.

What to expect at the Orientation:
Orientations are held AT THE Whitewater Community Garden. 
  • Park in Moraine View Park, Parking Lot and walk towards Soccer field shed.  Gardens are located beyond field.  
  • Orientations are reserved for Sundays (PENDING WEATHER) but accommodations can be made if that day does not work for your schedule.  
  • The purpose is for you to check out the available plots, go over rules, but mainly to help decide if joining is right for you.
  • Signed applications, waiver and payment will then be taken.
